In cooperation with the Central Election Commission (CEC), IFES produced a poll worker training video on election day procedures for the presidential elections 2008. The video was distributed among Constituency Election Commissions by the CEC as an interactive training tool for poll workers around the country. The production of the video was made possible through funding from the British Embassy. Below are short clips of the video. In cooperation with the Central Election Commission, IFES produced 3 Public Service Announcements (PSAs), for the 2008 Presidential Election. The aim of the PSAs was to inform citizens on voting procedures and motivate all voters to participate in the election. The PSAs were made accessible to the hearing-impaired through subtitling or sign language. Through the Central Election Commission, the PSAs are being broadcast on ITV, AzTV, Lider TV and Space TV. IREX has also assisted in airing the PSAs on six regional stations in Zagatala, Guba, Mingechevir, Sumgayit, Lankaran, and Ganja. A radio version of the Voting Steps PSA is also being broadcast on public radio and Space and Lider Radio.
